PMJ Capital donate £6000 to North West Hospices

Short term property finance company PMJ Capital has announced that as part of its annual charitable activities, it will be donating £6000 to three North West charities through the Xmas Party Heroes project which is led by friends of PMJ Capital – Landmark Group.

It is no secret that charities across the UK have received a significant drop in funding this year with large scale fundraising events unable to take place as usual.

A report by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (IoF) and Charity Finance Group (CFG) found that charities are expecting an average 24% reduction in funding this year – equating to a £12.4 billion loss of income for good causes as a whole.

PMJ Capital will donating funds to three local hospices: Bolton Hospice, St Catherine’s Hospice in Lostock Hal, Lancashire and Francis House, children’s hospice in Manchester.

David Rainford, Managing Director at PMJ, commented: “The Coronavirus pandemic has significantly impacted many this year and charities are some of the hardest hit.

“Fundraising is hard enough at the best of times but made impossible at present.

“We hope that our donation will go some way to help and recognise the work that all the staff and carers provide at the three hospice’s we are supporting”.

PMJ Capital is a sister company of Cowgills Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors and is a specialised provider of short-term property finance, working with developers and entrepreneurs throughout the North West region.
